23andMe+ Total Health™ is our most advanced and comprehensive membership offering.
The 23andMe+ Total Health membership offers all of the features and reports provided in our 23andMe+ Membership, plus exome sequencing, bi-annual blood testing, and direct access to clinicians with unique knowledge and training in genetics-based care*. Members will get personalized recommendations focusing on ongoing disease prevention and early detection.
Exome sequencing is comprehensive genetic testing that analyzes a portion of your total DNA which contains the majority of genetic variants associated with disease. 23andMe+ Total Health offers clinician-ordered exome sequencing and clinical interpretation of 100+ high impact genes associated with 55+ health conditions that, if detected early, may have effective preventative measures and clinical interventions.
23andMe+ Total Health customers will also receive comprehensive blood tests that assess 55+ biomarkers, including ones that go beyond your routine labs. Biannual testing allows you to track results and measure progress all within your 23andMe account. Blood testing is initiated by a clinician and offered at one of our lab partner’s convenient patient centers.
The clinicians that offer clinical services coordinated through 23andMe are committed to you on your preventative health journey. They review blood biomarkers and genetic data to provide you with personalized assessments and help build a preventative health plan that's tailored to you. 23andMe+ Total Health customers will receive dedicated consultations with a clinician to help better understand reports, generate risk assessments, and provide next steps. Once results are delivered, unlimited messaging with clinicians with training in genetics-based care will become available.

Eligibility
To be eligible for 23andMe+ Total Health, you must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States. Due to state and regional restrictions, this service is not available to residents of HI, NJ, NY, RI and US territories. Clinical features coordinated through 23andMe are currently only available to eligible customers that have a single profile in their account.
If you have received a bone marrow transplant using cells from a donor, we cannot support your use of the 23andMe® Personal Genetic Service.
If you have received a blood transfusion in the last 30 days, we cannot support your use of the 23andMe® Personal Genetic Service. You may hold on to your kit and use it when 30 days pass.
If you are ineligible for the 23andMe+ Total Health service, please contact Customer Care. We would be happy to review your eligibility for a refund.
Which lab tests are included?
Comprehensive Panel includes 60+ biomarkers and the following tests: Lipid Panel, Comprehensive Metabolic Panel, Complete Blood Count (CBC), HbA1c, TSH, Lp(a) and ApoB.
Follow-up panel (every 6 months) includes the following tests: Lipid Panel, Comprehensive Metabolic Panel, Complete Blood Count (CBC), HbA1c
Requesting Medical Records
If you participated in telehealth services coordinated through your 23andMe account, your Medical Record will be retained in accordance with applicable law and is subject to the Medical Record Privacy Notice.
If you have an active 23andMe account, you may request and download your medical records directly from within your Account Settings.
If you have an inactive 23andMe account or are a third party requesting medical records, please contact our team at 888-536-2267.
I am an existing customer interested in this service. How can I add it to my existing account?
Existing customers are eligible to purchase and upgrade to Total Health at a special price if you:
- are 18 years or older
- have not received a blood transfusion within the last month
- have never received a bone marrow transplant
- are already genotyped on a V5 chip
- are based in the US (excluding HI, NJ, NY, RI and US territories)
- are on a single profile account
- are on Ancestry service, Health + Ancestry service, Premium membership

23andMe+ Total Health Membership Activation
New customers can receive the most advanced 23andMe experience by purchasing the 23andMe+ Total Health Membership Service. This includes access to our 23andMe+ Premium Membership and everything in our Health + Ancestry Service.
Once you receive your kit, you must then register the kit and activate your membership by following the onscreen prompts and entering a valid payment method prior to mailing your sample to our laboratory. This activation will enroll you in the annual auto-renewal of the 23andMe+ Total Health Membership. Since your first year of 23andMe+ Total Health Membership has already been paid, you will not be charged at the time of activation. After completing activation, you may cancel auto-renewal at any time from your 23andMe Account Settings.

Canceling Your 23andMe+ Total Health Membership
We believe in the value of the 23andMe+ Total Health membership by providing customers who participate in the membership a more complete picture of their health.
As part of our most advanced and comprehensive membership, we offer clinician-initiated exome sequencing, bi-annual blood testing initiated by a clinician and access to genetics-based clinical care services coordinated through 23andMe - in addition you'll also receive access to our 23andMe+ Premium membership, which provides 190+ personalized genotyped reports
If you are not interested in maintaining access to these and future included reports, you are welcome to cancel your membership at any time through your Account Settings. If you choose to cancel your membership before the end of your billing cycle, you will retain access to the reports and features included in the membership until the end of your billing cycle. At the end of your billing cycle, you will lose access to 23andMe+ Total Health Membership reports and features. However, you will still have access to all of the reports and features included in the 23andMe Health + Ancestry Service. Medical information from clinical services will remain accessible.

*Exome Sequencing and blood testing services are available to eligible customers upon completion of the intake questionnaire that must be reviewed, approved and ordered by a third-party clinician. Exome Sequencing is analyzed by a CLIA- and CAP-accredited laboratory. Blood testing is completed by Quest Diagnostics. All telehealth services are provided in accordance with the Telehealth Terms and Consent to Telehealth.
